The Brief
The LACA (Local Authorities Caterers Association) Annual Conference & Exhibition is an annual event hosted in Birmingham. As a major player in the sector, Premier Foods wanted to dominate the 2011 event and also use it to showcase two important product launches: Bird’s Ice Cream and McDougalls Flour Based Mixes. Eclipse Creative were briefed to design and build Premier’s stand, but faced a major challenge which was that we had to use the existing exhibition framework.
The Answer
We designed and created a stand that was a true show-stopper and stole the entire show, all using the existing physical framework and keeping within Premier’s budgets. The stand included giant 3D packs bursting out of the backdrop and even a custom-branded ice cream trolley with umbrellas. Support material and various giveaways were also produced. Premier Foods were delighted with the stand and associated material, and arranged a large number of meetings and demonstrations as a result.
